Retro Ringer Series – Labelle Station Cap

A tribute to the pioneers who built a life in the last frontier.

The Retro Ringer Series isn’t just about caps—it’s about history, legacy, and the people who shaped the North. Designed with jet black heavy-duty cotton, sturdy black mesh, rope detail, and our Dusty Creek Retro Ringer patch, this cap carries a story from the archives—and a piece of history under the brim.

📸 Under-Brim Photo:
Captured at Labelle Station in the 1950s, this image shows Uncle Roy, Uncle Bob, and Grandfather Ray Townsend loading cattle onto an old truck—complete with a makeshift panel setup to squeeze a few more in. The Territory way.

The Townsend family migrated to the NT in 1962 from Florida, USA, led by Asa Townsend, who taxied across Queensland searching for the perfect land to settle. That land became Stapleton Station, later expanding into Labelle, Kiri, Well Tree, Wangi, Shilo, and Hazard.

This cap is a nod to that pioneering spirit and a thank you to those who came before us—the ones who worked the land, built the stations, and shaped the cattle industry we know today.
